200 days to go before Sojin's contract expires. Will she renew or move on? It's hard to tell. There are some speculations that Girl's Day moving to all-s entertainment or they might part ways after their contract expires. There's nothing but hot take based on certain private instagram posts and other trivial things thought out of it.
Sojin has been so active this year. With My Daughter's Men Season 3 finished airing last week, She's currently an MC of two shows (Got Ya GWSN, Man VS Child Korea) and perform on her stage play, 'Love Score' until october. She's was also a guest of MBC Cafeteria / Lunchtime that aired last night. Also, just few days ago, it was a surprise that she sang an OST for the drama 'Life'. It's titled 'Close Your Eyes'. It's her first OST since Reply 1988's 'Everyday With You' that was released back in December 26, 2015. That's 954 days ago.
She's having a great year and i think we must enjoy everything she's doing while it lasts. We're still waiting for that Sojin solo but i think she can only do it if she's on a new company. I think she has lots of friends who can suggest a company for her? She's friends with former 4 minute Kwon Sohyun, her co-stars from Oh! Dear Goddesses of Basement drama, former bestie Haeryung along with actresses Ha yeon soo and Cha Jung Won. She has lots of options. She can continue as MC on shows and be on the small screen at the same time. I think it's too early to speculate if she's being if she's already being courted by different agencies right now. For the first time since November 6, 2017, After 271 days Girl's Day performed on their first event this 2018. Crazy. It's been highly anticipated since it's been announced and also since the Red Angel Festival was postponed back in July (It will be back in August 26). So we'll be waiting 26 days for us to see them perform on another event and for Girl's Day fans that's no big deal since we've been waiting for a Girl's Day comeback, 1 year and 5 months now. July has passed and it's still a great month. Though i've been slacking off with the blog posts recently, I hope to finding my footing real soon.We won't be getting any comeback related news anytime soon but we have a lot of shows to look forward to, especially with Yura and Sojin. 1. Yura as MC in Miss Korea It was really a great event. Everyone was really anticipating what Yura will wear. She dressed as simple as possible. She was nervous but managed to pull it out quite well till the end. Sojin having a great time performing on Love Score Girl's Day's Sojin revealed her fears about making her theater debut in the play 'Love Score'. At the July 4th press conference for 'Love Score', Sojin expressed, "When I first started theater, I really wanted to, but I was also scared. After meeting with the lead producer and speaking with him, I felt that I would definitely learn a lot, and it'd be fun as well. I decided on it after I realized it would give me assurance about acting. I learned a lot working together with my fellow actors and the lead producer." Yeo Jin Goo, Girl’s Day’s Minah, Hong Jong Hyun, And More Attend Script Reading For “Absolute Boyfriend” Remake Based on the popular Japanese manga series of the same name, “Absolute Boyfriend” is a romantic comedy that will tell the story of Uhm Da Da, a special effects makeup artist who has never had much success with love (played by Girl’s Day’s Minah), and Zero-Nine (Young Goo), a humanoid robot built to become the ideal boyfriend (played by Yeo Jin Goo).
