10 Girl's Day news to look back from July 2018
July has passed and it's still a great month. Though i've been slacking off with the blog posts recently, I hope to finding my footing real soon.We won't be getting any comeback related news anytime soon but we have a lot of shows to look forward to, especially with Yura and Sojin.
1. Yura as MC in Miss Korea
It was really a great event. Everyone was really anticipating what Yura will wear. She dressed as simple as possible. She was nervous but managed to pull it out quite well till the end.
As Yura mentioned: "It is my honor to join the flagship contest of Korea that seeks out beauty."

2. Sojin having a great time performing on Love Score
Girl's Day's Sojin revealed her fears about making her theater debut in the play 'Love Score'.
At the July 4th press conference for 'Love Score', Sojin expressed, "When I first started theater, I really wanted to, but I was also scared. After meeting with the lead producer and speaking with him, I felt that I would definitely learn a lot, and it'd be fun as well. I decided on it after I realized it would give me assurance about acting. I learned a lot working together with my fellow actors and the lead producer."
She continued, "The [Girl's Day's] members worried about me a lot. Because it's something that cameras can't cover up, they cheered me on more. Yesterday, Yura came to see me, and the other members plan to see the play as well."
Sojin is currently playing the role of Ohreum, a determined young woman who moves from Jeju Island to the city to achieve her dreams in music, in 'Love Score'.

3. 8 Years with Girl's Day

No hype back in July 9 but everyone still remembers except the Girl's Day twitter account. It sucks. No vlive but at least we got instagram updates from Sojin and Minah. Will we still get another comeback? We'll see this through until the very end.

5. Sojin to become an MC again on new show on mnet!
Kim Shin Young, DinDin, Sojin, And Son Dongwoon To Become MCs For GWSN’s Upcoming Reality Show
Kim Shin Young, known for her emceeing abilities and familiarity with idols, will be the leader of the four MCs. DinDin is expected to provide the viewers’ perspectives of the girl group’s actions, while Sojin and Son Dongwoon will provide valuable insight as idols with variety show experience.

Sojin is extremely busy these days and it's a good thing that we'll be able to see her in a lot of shows. Currently the most employed Girl's Day member, she's really on the roll and i have a theory about it. I'll post it soon on a new blog post.
6. Aside from Sojin, Yura is also on the roll with 2 new show appearances soon!
Yura will become a marine police on a new MBC show!
She's the only female member on MBC's " Ocean Police " broadcast will be on August.
“Ocean Police” is an MBC Every1 spin-off program of the “Countryside Police” (literal translation) series. In the show, the members filmed with the South Sea Regional Headquarters of the Korean Coast Guard and took on various duties such as patrolling, salvaging, and preserving the sea. (soompi)

7. Girl's Day Sojin will appear on MBC variety 'Wandering Other's Companies - Cafeterias"
They'll travel to some of Korea's biggest companies and explore their cafeterias
It's expected to air on august 9. Another show for Sojin!
8. Minah @ Diptyque's Seoul Boutique Opening Event
Great to see Minah on events like this. We rarely see Girl's Day members attending on this kind of events.
9. Hyeri's new It's Skin CF
We expect more of this cfs soon and it's always great to see Hyeri in stores and ads everywhere.
10. Yeo Jin Goo, Girl’s Day’s Minah, Hong Jong Hyun, And More Attend Script Reading For “Absolute Boyfriend” Remake
Based on the popular Japanese manga series of the same name, “Absolute Boyfriend” is a romantic comedy that will tell the story of Uhm Da Da, a special effects makeup artist who has never had much success with love (played by Girl’s Day’s Minah), and Zero-Nine (Young Goo), a humanoid robot built to become the ideal boyfriend (played by Yeo Jin Goo). Hong Jong Hyun will also star as Ma Wang Joon, an A-list star who, in spite of his immense popularity, always seems to lose his cool around his girlfriend.
On June 22, the cast of the drama gathered for their very first table read. Over the course of five hours, the actors passionately showed off their acting chops as they ran through their lines together.

Excited for this drama! They will still film until october since it's a pre-produced. Can't wait to see Minah as Dada. lol
