What can DreamT and Girl's Day learn from Pristin V's "Like A V"
It's been a while since Girl's Day had music projects or any music related activities. They're basically non-idols at this point. Back in 2017, Girl's Day had a comeback with a mini album Everyday 5. I'll be yours was brilliant. Promotions were short but memorable. Thinking about it, It's been 14 months since they had a comeback. It's been 6 month since Minah had a solo. The future is uncertain but maybe it's time to have a sub-unit? I know they are busy individually... they have their own shows and they seem fine with what they have. I know we're still waiting for Sojin solo debut.. but what are the odds of having a Girl's Day sub-unit soon?
Maybe zero, lol.
I've been interested with some music release of other girl groups this year (bye gsd... jk) Red Velvet's "Bad Boy" is still the ceiling this year though. This week there's AOA's Bingle Bangle that i can't even finish the whole song but the mv is visually stunning. One group that captured my interest is a sub-unit. Yes. Pristin's sub-unit, Pristin V released their debut song "Get It". The song is growing on me. It's produced well, the rap verses are fire but it seems to have no climax. But then the visuals are also growing on me. I know both kyulkyung and nayoung back in their IOI era. Roa is also stunning on this. Rena and Eunwoo too. Finally, another girl group song that i like this year.

Amazing track record there. But the output will still depend on the delivery and pristin v definitely hit the nail. It is good to try other producers too. So SPENDING MONEY FOR GOOD PRODUCERS is really important.
2. MV Director

It is good to choose the right director. It's better to avoid the ones who put ugly fonts at the beginning of the video. AesteTHICC i mean aesthetic is the trending nowadays. So CHOOSING THE RIGHT MV DIRECTOR is also an important factor.
3. Concept
I think Gi-idle, who just debuted recently had a good concept choice along with Pristin V. Though i believe that songs that are geared towards the public should also consider point dance and choreography in order for it to be popular. It will always go down to concept and title track choice. But most importantly, the CONCEPT OF HAVING COMEBACK AND HAVE YOUR GIRL GROUP DO SOME MUSIC STUFF is really really a must. From time to time, i think they should be on collabs, ost, solos and sub-units.
