Girl's Day Minah on a new drama!! more subtle connections and funny trivia featuring Yeo Jin Goo
Jobless no more. Minah is finally into something for the first time in a long time.
According to kpopping,
"On May 30th, Girl's Day's agency stated, "Minah confirmed to star in 'Absolute Boyfriend'." This is her first drama after 2 years since 'Beautiful Gong Shim'. 'Absolute Boyfriend' is a romantic comedy drama based on Japanese original with the same title. Yeo Jin Goo will play as the male lead. Filming for this drama will begin in early July."
I won't delve into more information about the drama but i found some interesting connection between Minah and Yoo Jin Goo.. just for fun. π
I found a past article that says Yoo Jin Goo really wants to meet G-dragon.
"Charismatic actor Yeo Jin Goo revealed that he had a soft spot in his heart for Big Bang, especially, G-Dragon! my favorite group is Big Bang, and especially G-Dragon." "Hyung, I don't know when I'll get to meet you, but I really want to see you sometime," he said in a video message. "I want to get closer to you."

I don't know if they already officially met but they were on SBS Drama Awards back in 2016
who would have thought they will be working together 2 year later?
Yeo Jin Goo was also on 2014 Style Icon Awards, 2014 SBS Gayo and many more events that Girl's Day was in.
and the most interesting info i found is, Yeo Jin Goo was actually Minah's ideal type!!

Minah picked Yeo Jin Goo as her ideal guy.
She mentions she doesn’t like younger guys most of the time, but she mentions that she was charmed by his mature behavior.
“Recently I saw Yeo Jin Goo in an interview, his passion and love for his work was impressive. I know that he is 4 years younger than me. I usually don’t prefer younger guys but if he was mature like Yeo Jin Goo then I think it would be okay. His appearance and personality both is close to my ideal person.”

Good luck to both of them. I'm really excited about this since it's been a long time and Minah is back on a new drama. Hopefully she'll also sing an OST for this one.
