It's really the worst year for dai5y. We're halfway into 2018 and we really thought there's progress after firing papa lee (which was a terrible decision) but it just got worse. The fandom is struggling, as they would say. I am struggling maybe because i've still had some expectations (gidahae) this year.

In the past i use to say like "let's watch their individual shows, coz it's still fun and entertaining" and "at least they still have shows" ... are they getting anywhere on this shows? :/ i know they all have shows aside from Minah and she really deserves better. I thought she should have taken that acting job for "I Am Not A Robot". It's great that they have individual shows but who are watching this shows. Sojin's "My Daughter's Men" still got few discussions every episode on r/koreanvariety subreddit. Hyeri's "Amazing Saturday" seems struggling in ratings but maybe it still got daisies and shawol viewers, probably. Yura's "Weekly China" seem to have longevity and hopefully it might help land her a bigger show in the future because she has experience now on her resume.

I don't know. Maybe DreamT should promote them better?

I know there were some news back then that they already renewed... according to Yura. https://onehallyu.com/topic/664868-girls-day-renewed-their-contract-in-2017-will-release-new-song-in-the-fall/ It's been a while since DreamT reps confirmed something. But then curio's tweet really made think:

Woah. Big if true, curio. It's possible but we're not counting other possibilities at this point. We're struggling for Girl's Day content and everyone's seems still excited about everything. We're struggling for OT4 and we get excited whenever they have group photo.

and Minah & Sojin still remembers the fancafe:

I'm still worried but It's great to see them seem happier these days. They're not overworked. Maybe their current shows are their choice (hopefully) i always had this in mind... maybe they're over the idol phase. Minah & Sojin telling us not to get worried.. maybe i should stop being worried. These past few years was really a reminder that Nothing Last Forever and maybe we should accept it will really be over as we move forward.

I'm really hoping they'll also get more success on their individual activities. I'm still having a bit of frustration that Hyeri is a having a movie again but i wish her the best. and i hope we'll read more positive comments again. sheesh. I think it's time to give up Expecting (gidahae-ing)

and maybe it's time to shift my focus once in a while since i found new favorite.. better late than never

;)
